No waiting list at all my friend got her from London at Watchclub brand new just a week old 5year guarantee with all the usual paperwork including the new green seal and bezel protector - paid a bit more than an AD as they give BS about waiting times. Yes I can fly abroad to Switzerland and get one also but rather pay a few hundred extra and save the hassle - was worth it for me.

I phoned a couple of ADs in Geneva when I was back in the UK and hunting mine and both told me there was a waiting list there too. Luckily, they're pretty much immediately available here in Singapore so no hassle for me in the end.

Congrats

Watchclub usually advertise these at about £1000 over AD prices, do they give any discount on their prices?

Thanks

You have to negotiate and they will, plus I had a trade which I got an extremely good price on in fact much more than I expected - that trade together with a bit of price movement was a great deal for the 1week old beautiful Daytona.
Plus I have a customer relationship with them now and they have a watch that I've been after for a long time, which they have, but are not advertising and I hope to get details on it soon. If it's as described that is also worth it to have a good relationship and get news on watches before anyone else.

Thanks for this.

I've often wondered if they are flexible on their prices. You have a beautiful watch there, but if the other one you are waiting for is an early zenith Daytona I'll be really really jealous.

Hi

Did you get the other watch you mentioned above to go with your Daytona?

Thank you everyone for the great comments it's a timeless beautiful watch.
What I do also like is the darker flatter subdials, yes it's a single tick dial you see that at 27 and 33 markets, also the number 40 is a different style to a double tick, overall the dial and fonts are extremely clean and stunning to look at and ofcourse you get the striking blue lume.

Can tell you're justifiably proud. That's the Daytona model I first got when I flipped my Expl. II.

Enjoy it
