5711 vs 15202 based on my current line up.
Hey guys,
Yes it is this repetitive thread once again, and I apologise for it. I have posted it on the Patek forum, and notice the 5711 outnumbering the AP jumbo, however I would like to see how biased it was, considering it was the PP forum. I currently own a SS Rolex for an everyday use, a speedy that was given to me as a gift, and a Reverso as my dress watch. I find the PP and AP both to be very versatile watches, and would be wearing them dressed up and down. I like the dial of the PP much more, but the bracelet and presence of the AP a little more. The 5711 also is attractive since it is a Patek, if that makes any sense. I really appreciate everyone's opinion. Have a nice day. Edit. Damn, was meant to have a Poll here Any way to add it now? |

Patek for me, the AP dial is much more static so the PP is IMO much nicer, plus the PP has a kind of cool 70's look, the AP doesn't even if it's older than the Patek… Oh and the absence of second hand on the AP isn't something I can easily deal with

5711 for me. You must try them on though, as they are both beautiful.

It's a coin flip. I like the bracelet better on the AP though.

5711 dials is a cameleon the 15202 is more flat compared to the 5711, if i had to pick just one between both i would go for the 5711

15202 for me.
I like the design, bracelet, clasp, waffle dial, and the colored date wheel more than the 5711's offerings.

agree its a coin flip
i have tried both on and the AP feels more substantial, the PP bracelet looks great but, don't want to use the word flimsy but seemed delicate - would feel more comfortable with the AP if you wanted a useable piece and PP for a dressier piece |

I would take the Patek - in any case. The PP bracelet is much more comfortable than that of the RO, and it fits better to the wrist. The 5711/5712 still is THE high-end steel watch. For a sportier watch take the ROO Chrono!

If you like the dial of the PP much more and the bracelet of the RO only a little more.....go with the patek.

I tried them both on today and the 202 was a bit small on me. I think you have to try them both on be for you take the leap.
