Do you want to see some crazy prices for Y Serial LVs and 3186 GMT IIs in Japan!?
At a grey dealer. Crazy thing is, I will maybe go back in a week or two and they will be sold for sure.

This is not good for me, as I want to add a 16610LV to my collection in the future. I'm not ready to buy right now, but neither do I want to stand on the sidelines and watch the price go up for this watch.

In the Netherlands they sell M serial (3186) with Rectangular or Stick dial in Mint condition for 18.000 EUR. While the NOS goes for 20-23K EUROS. |

Amazing prices. Just wonder how much (percentage wise) discount would dealers in Japan give, assuming if any at all.
I'm referring to pieces like those posted.

So I guess my main question is why in sam hell would anyone pay that kind of price for a used LV? These prices just don't make sense in the slightest...well said Peter...absolutely foolish.

This is quite often the case with the Japanese market. Look at the markup on American made goods such as Alden shoes or Redwing shoes in Japan, pretty shocking.

I am really surprised because I usualy buy my watches from Quark Osaka.. And they always have reasonable prices.. For example I bought my hulk for 7600 usd.. And also took some tax back.. So this is really surprising..It looks like those price tags are for another gold or vintage watches and they mixed them up..
