I have seen that 650 TPD is good for Rolex - That being said, if you wait till Christmas, I would go and wind it fully a few times a month to keep it going strong.

If you can wait till Christmas, you have TONS of patience. That sure is a beauty. Enjoy!

Wear it NOW! Don't worry about the winder - if it runs down, winding it up and putting it on the right date is part of the fun. Congrats!

just so you ALL know, those PICS were taken with THE BEZEL protector STILL ON!!
<bragging slightly> LOLOL...JK guys.

I am AMAZED at the camaraderie here on the forum, as well as on the Omega forums.
True Gentlemen, ALL of you, and simply proud to finally be part of the community.
Years ago, growing up, Rolex was JUST a name I had associated synonymous with elegance, quality, ruggedness, sophistication, ALL in one. i NEVER knew I would ONE day, own one. And now, I still have to rub my eyes..:)

thank you all!

I agree totally with these sentiments - TRF is a classy forum- BTW I first considered a Rolex 15 years ago but never got round to it..made up for it by buying 116505 Everona (different post).

Well some people celebrate "Christmas in July" so you could argue that it could have been on your wrist 2 months ago.

Congrats.

Awesome watch man. Enjoy in good health. Question on that QR code on the watch case, Is it a sticker? Will it come off eventually by itself?

Hi Lotus
It LOOKS like a sticker...:)
I havent removed any of the stickers yet ( Im SOO BAD)..:)

NOT my FAULT! Even the stickers are so well "stuck" into the case, I thought it WAS PART of the case... NOT my FAULT! Its ROLEX's fault for being so detailed and high quality!
