Submariner 116610 Real or Fake?
Hi Guys, I'm new here.
My uncle just gifted me his Rolex Submariner he bought about 5 years ago. The Model is 116610, or so it says on the holographic sticker on the back.... I've been doing a lot of reading on Rolexes, and I'm not quite sure whether to believe it is real or not. I asked the local Jewelry store at the mall whether they can check if its authentic and its $175 just to check! I don't have that kind of money (funny saying that in a Rolex-owner forum, but alas, it was a gift). I live in San Diego, if anyone lives in the area and can take a look at it, I'd absolutely appreciate it and will buy you lunch! Any tips/help anyone can provide me with? Specs: Polished Center Links Model 116610 (or so the sticker says) Thanks, RTDTT |

Hey Guys,
I called an authorized dealer here at the mall, and they were the ones that told me its $175 to check if its real or fake. Any suggestions?? I've attached pictures to this post for your review. More to come! Please help! |

It's fake.
Somehow I think the OP knew that already though (smells like another fishing expedition). As mentioned in another thread, it's amazing how many "uncles and grandfathers" there are out there leaving counterfeit garbage watches to their heirs... |
