16700 or 16710
Dear fellow members
I'm in the market for a GMT and have two good options: a 16700 t<25 dial and a 16710 swiss dial. Nearly same year and price. Different movement 3175 and 3185 and different lume. These can favor the 16710, but the 16700 has a quick dateset and is little less 'common'. Can't make up my mind. Can u help me: what would you do? Thanks! |

Go for the one that is in the best condition.... All things being = I would go for the 16700 bc I prefer a quickest date over an independent Gmt hand. There is no bad choice :)
Good luck J |

The 16710 is more user friendly for traveling, the 16700 has the QS date which is nice. Either way

I would recommend 16700 too for the quick set date function.

I have a 16700 but do not see a quick date function as a advantage at all. I have an Omega which does not have this function but it's as easy to change the date as well. Just a few turns with the hour hands, the date changes. Actually it only requires a slight turn to change the hour. Besides, I only have to change the date every other month.
Am I missing something? |
