I appreciate the feedback, that seems to be the route. One more ?, black dials the way to go?

black dial sub date is awesome and more utilitarian. Green dial/bezel sub date Hulk is nice. Blue sunburst dial sub date two tone is nicer. All depends what you're going for. (i went bluesy)

The Sub would be my choice for the two you listed. Your opinion is the most important.

I don't know of many people (well, the regular posters) on TRF that have diamonds on their Rolex. It's all personal preference, though. That's why there are different versions of the same model. Post pics once you buy one!!!

How about TT Blue Sub

But you can never go wrong with a Black Sub date...classic, timeless perfect for all occassions

I do not mind diamonds depending on placement. However, I must go with general consensus...Sub

It's just a matter of personal taste. I like the Datejust but don't care for diamonds on men's watches, so if this is the choice I'd go with the Sub-Date. Good luck!
