NY Show Tickets
Hi everyone,
I just returned yesterday with my Family from a fabulous 4 day visit to NY. I had called upon the advice of fellow TRF members as to where to stay and eat well... The accommodations were superb and I have never ever eaten better. I have been around the world a few times... But NY's food choices and quality blew me away. So much so that I want to go back and soon... But this time I would like us all to catch a Broadway show. Now my question is... Does anyone know if there is any way to either order on line or call and have tickets delivered to the Hotel?. I was in Times Square and the line up to purchase tickets was hours long.. I sound like a snob, but I can't handle lineups.. I'm just not sure how to get my hands on tickets and not have to stand in a line for ages. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rgds, Shawn |

Glad you enjoyed the city.
You never have to wait in line for tickets. The line you saw was for TKTS - same day discounted tickets (donated, unsold tickets from various shows) where proceeds go to the Theater Development Fund. The line is long because tickets can be up to 75% off face value so its the only way many families can see a Broadway production You can go to website of the Broadway show you want to see and buy your tickets there and pick them up at will-call just before the show |

My wife and I did the Times Square / Broadway show thing back in September. We had a great time and are really looking forward to going back.
