Jubilee bracelet on 114060 submariner question

Hello

I'm looking to get jubilee bracelet for my 114060 SubC. What I'm not sure about is what pieces i need.

Does anyone know what exactly i need to get?
I think i need 62510H stamped 50 bracelet and 502t endlinks? Do i need any other parts?

I believe there was a period, in the 70's and early 80's, when you were offered a choice, by some AD's. Oyster or Jubilee.

Sorry I can't help you with what you need. But, I can tell you, it is very, very comfortable.

Original bracelet is nice but it doesn't agree with my skin :) I keep getting rashes when I wear it. Very strange. So I wanted to try jubilee and see if its better.

Why not get an aftermarket Jubilee and see if that helps.

If it does help, then you can seek out the real deal.

I have the same issue. You have a nickel allergy. It's unfortunate for us watch lovers to have to suffer but fear not, you can wear the Sub on Nato, leather, or rubber strap as I do(Everest and RubberB are the best choices for rubber).

I don't think the jubilee will help you, nor would it look right on a sub. The only real option to wear a watch on a bracelet is a titanium watch which Rolex doesn't make. Tudor, Breitling and Omega do however.

you have a nickel allergy. no ss bracelet from rolex will suit you.

316l has less nickel content by about 40 to 50%.

i would suggest a nato, everest or leather strap instead.

Not true the main and only difference between 316L over 904L it has slightly more Molybdenum(Mo)approx 2% more, approx 1-2% more Crome(Cr), 1% copper(Cu), and approx 10% more nickel and thats it.

Aren't they both 904L steel? I don't think another Rolex steel bracelet is going to help your rash issue.

Yep it looks like i have nickel allergy. From my research older rolex bracelets have less nickel in them. I also have stainless steel zenith and never had an issue. My breitling emergency is titanium so that never caused an issue either. It started happening when i started wearing submariner.
I wanted to try jubilee, but its probably worth it to try nato strap. Its weird that only the clasp area causes rash, the bottom and sides of the wrsit. Bottom of the case that rests on the top of my wrist doesn't have an issue.

may not have been 904l back then is why. all stainless has nickel but 904l has more than 316l. i believe the nickel content is what gives the luster and strength. that is why rolex uses it.

For me the sides of my wrist breakout. The clasp and case back don't seem to bother me.

I had a stainless Breitling that never bothered me. I hear Omega is supposed to be friendly as well, I just use my Sub on NATO or rubber and my others on straps. Just picked up a Aerospace EVO for daily wear. Titanium is wonderful.

For a WIS that's certainly bad news.

I think you're going to need to look at alternatives suggested above such as leather / Nato as surely the Jubilee will have the same issue???

Boy, am I glad I don't have that problem with nickel. To OP, just get a Nato or leather strap like other said. Some of those leather straps look pretty darn good.

id argue the Everest band is the best option but to each his own. on the plus side for the OP now you can simply by head only watches and save some cashola.

Sell the Oyster glide lock, buy a nice band (leather, rubber, or NATO) and a Tudor Pelagos seems like a good option as well!

Or a leather Nato (got one right now on my 14060). Have you any other Rolex that you've had luck with? Looks like it PM time. Maybe keep saving; truly sad. Sorry to hear it.



I know this may sound crazy but have you considered painting the inside of the bracelet with clear nail polish as a experiment. It should be easy enough to remove.

Same for me. Sides mostly and the more i wear it the bigger the rash gets. As soon as I take it off it clears up in few days.
Yes titanium is really cool. Never had an issue with my my emergency on titanium bracelet and rubber.

Never tried another one before. This is my first Rolex. I actually painted it with clear nail polish but I think i need to do it again. I did a very thin coat and i don't think i applied enough of it. So maybe I'll remove the current nail polish and apply more generous amount of it to see if it helps.
I think i should also see a dermatologist and do the allergy test. Maybe its not even nickel that is the problem.

Does 114060 require special endlinks to put it on the nato strap? Like These ones?
