Source for very high quality Nato straps?

Where's the best place to find really good Nato straps? I had written them off quite a few years ago after trying one on my 5513, which was sort of flimsy and uncomfortable. The blue one that came with my Tudor Heritage Chrono is very good quality, a bit thicker and holds that relatively big watch quite well. There seems to have been renewed interest in them around here, with lots of colorful examples, and I'd like to get a few but want to know where to find the nice ones.

In my opinion, having tried just about all the most often mention sources of NATO straps, you're not going to find any normal NATOs that compare to the Tudor fabric straps. Most aftermarket NATOs are in the sub-$30 range, and those Tudor fabric straps are in the $180 range. The only one's I've tried that rival (In my opinion are actually better than the Tudor fabric straps) the Tudors are the Omega OEM NATO straps. They are by far the highest quality NATOs out there, but aren't cheap either...they run around $150 or more each. And of course have the Omega logo and name on the hardware. But are very soft and feel extremely high quality.

Gnomon Watches - great variety and if you buy 4 straps you get free shipping and a free springbar tool. See the previous discussion in the link below

How 'very high quality' does a nylon strap really need to be!? I've never had one fail yet, and I own about 20 nylon ones and various leather/suede/fabric ones. Some are stitched and some heat-welded - I like both, but personally prefer the stitched ones.

Crown & Buckle and Gnomon are both pretty good.

Have to agree afraid today high prices don't always mean high quality the NATOs from Eddie Platts at timefactors will take some beating for price and quality.

This sounds like the perfect question for DP!

Just wait until he finds, he will take care of you.
