little rectangular Black mark on side of Rolex. >Pic inside<

I have a NIB coming Friday, and I noticed it was on the side of the Rolex. I assume it's for security, but never seeing one up close.

Is it simply black ink that will wear off? Or some type of computer scanner infra red Code?

The latter....some type of plastic computer scanner infra red Code used for inventory purposes. Peel it off and toss it away!

Its a 2D barcode. There's a TON of info on that tiny sticker. Model number and serial number for sure.

The watch case and clasp are covered with plastic stickers. You will be busy for a bit finding them all and peeling them off. All in good fun of having a new watch.

I wore mine for 2 days and found 3 different pieces of stickers on my Yachtmaster after I noticed them in one of my pictures. Time for new glasses I guess...

makes you get up close and personal with the watch, whilst searching the stickers out. Bit like getting Bubble wrap and popping all the bubbles. You feel better after it is over !

My Platona is almost exactly one year old this week, and I, too, found a portion of plastic on the back of the clasp. They really cover our watches all over with the stuff.
