A long journey home, a new life

This 15053 is the beginning to my Rolex experience.

I can still remember the smile on father's face, when he brought her home one late summer's night in 1980. Since his passing I have stored this watch, and recently I am ready to take her out again.
It may not worth much compared to others, but it is priceless to me.

Hats off to RSC Canada in Toronto for bringing her back to mint box condition.

beautiful story and watch!

Looks like the swapped out the bracelet? Can we see a pic of the clasp, just curious what they mount on there.

A beautiful watch with a story like that is worth 1,000+ times an average Rolex, but you MUST wear it to validate its true worth.

Wear it with honor, pride and in good health.

I have the same watch my parents gave me when I graduated from university. Mine has a Jubilee bracelet and black face. It isn't my favourite to wear but it is my most precious piece.
