The DD40s that Ken and Dave have are fantastic, but I also really like a DD in platinum with ice blue dial and blue hands. Need to see that one live.

I like YG best for the DD40. Platinum for the Daytona.

if you want to be under the radar...PT. A more traditional choice is YG. Something about a DD calls for YG. The new stick dial with diagonal is great!

Yes me too. My skin tone just doesn't match very well with yellow gold.

Totally out of my league for now but in my opinion the yellow gold is a stunner.

Platinum with diagonal motif.

This question, for me, is just as much about the bezel as it is about the metal. Although the fluted bezel is the classic look I prefer the smooth.

Go YG, it's a must for a DD. Although I personally like the RG with chocolate dial.

I'd choose Platinum. Not only do I prefer the color the weight/feel of the metal is heavenly on the wrist.

I actually favor rose gold, but the dial selection for the YG watches is killer! I don't torture myself by looking at the platinum ;)
