Hi folks, this is a travesty for me to even consider it, but here we go. I've been wearing my 114060 SubC ND for over three years as basically my only watch. I am starting to crave a bit of color and the blue/black combo of the BLNR, plus the shiny PCLs, are of interest.

I really like the simplicity and symmetry of the SubC, but I just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone had made this same change and how they liked it. I can't really justify having both watches at this time. Thanks!

I have owned both at the same time. Great watches. If I were to only have one Rolex and the choice was between those two, I'd choose the BLNR all the way. The added bit of color makes it more interesting along with the added complication.

My best advice would be to save to add the BLNR instead of flipping.

I wouldn't want to be without the 114060.
That said, you can give the BLNR a go and if you find yourself missing the Sub it'll be an easy flip back to what you started with.

I like the BLNR, but love the SubC. Its simply a timeless classic. I wouldn't make that flip.

I did that exact move just over a year ago. No regrets here. I love the blnr for the beautiful black/blue bezel, pcls,date , and gmt function. I have a small collection and I feel at times the sub and gmt were similar in appearance. Good luck!

You'll never get it out of your system unless you try it out. I think that's what this hobby is all about. You can easily backflip to the SubC if you grow weary of the BLNR. Have fun with the BLNR!

I have both, and love both. If I was looking to keep just 1 I think I would go with the 114060. Best solution is get both.

I started with the BLNR and added the SubC about a year after. All things being equal and I had to choose 1 to keep it would be the BLNR.

If you can't have both, then I'd stick with what you have.

The blnr is a beautiful piece, but the glidelock and simple design of the Sub win out, at least for me.

It's the opposite if yours used to the date & go to daytona or SubC no date.

You should pick up the BLNR and have the PCL's brushed or buy a SubC bracelet with Glidelock for the watch - best of both worlds!

It's what I did with my BLNR and haven't looked back in 2 years!

I've thought about the same but honestly the simplicity and glide lock clasp are just something I couldnt give up on swapping. I think they would make a great combo but if it were only to come down to one, 114060 all the way.

Definitely would suggest saving and keeping both. I think you'll regret flipping the sub. Its simple, timeless and not as flashy as the BLNR.
I just got my BLNR last week, and if anything, these two have knocked all my other watches out of my rotation. Sub for dirtier work, and the BLNR for dressy stuff/ traveling.
