Hello from foggy cold Cornwall!

Got a chance to use my FIL's computer so I just wanted to say hi
Adrian, I've had mushy peas and chips and I liked it! I've got some great pics of Josh enjoying it too

The cottage we're staying in is a converted barn on a working farm. Padi, There are Cornish sheep everywhere

We're off to a piss up, er family lunch, at a pub in a bit. When I get a chance, I'll try to get some pics on Dad's computer and post some. Take care everyone.
Cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,

Where are you in Cornwall? (PM if necessary). We're at our place in St Ives at the moment although probably heading back to the Isle of Wight for most of this week. We're in Cornwall sometime most weeks....

Ah, Cornwall. Now there's an area of England the wife and I have never visited. Next trip, perhaps.

Eat a lot of Cornish Pasties, now...

I must admit to being biased... I was born (and we have a house) in St. Ives Cornwall, but my wife comes from Jersey, Channel Islands and our main home is on the Isle of Wight. This is also complicated by the fact that, during the week, I generally work in Surrey and my wife is a Professor in Devon.

Perhaps that's why we like to visit Cornwall at least once a week, to regain our roots in the South West

Thank God we don't have a complicated life!

We're staying in a cottage just out of Launceston. The inlaws are in Callington. We'll be at a Pub quiz in Gunnislake (Tavistock Arms) Tuesday night if you're in the area.

I suppose it would be too much for me to ask you to give some sheep a tight hug and a kiss from me? Or maybe our Padi can do that in case there are too many for you to cope up with!!

We've gotten a bit sidetracked now. Poor Joshy has got a virus that is going around the area. The little guy has never been sick, but now he's got a fever and is just miserable.

This country is so civilized though. We got in to see a doc straight away at no charge and even got a prescription at no charge. The doc said, what's 10 minutes of our time? Especially for a little one. I love England even more now!
Cheers,
Bruce

Clearly MIL's will be the best pasties, but if you ever get to St Just (not far from Lands End) try the McFadden Butcher's ones. They are fantastic and made with truly local meats and veg. Hmmm... I feel a trip in the car coming on (it's about 8 miles from here - and a lovely drive on the north west Corwall coast road).

McFadden Butcher's ones, yes agree great tasting pasties.
Picture of myself, Carol my wife, and my mother and her little dog, sadly now both gone to a better place.I used to do quite a bit of diving around the Cornish, coast before I moved to mid Wales.Better class of sheep here Bruce but a bit rougher, but far easier to please than your Cornish sheep.
