BAPE x Bamford Watch Department Rolex Deepsea

Well, at least there will only be four of them.

Not a fan, but could be a lot worse.

Not a fan, mainly due to the dial... But I wonder how a gold "standard" DSSD would do...

Yes interesting! This example is terrible (IMO), especially with the popcorn yellow booger dial.

But as to your comment. Yes, a YG deepsea with the regular black dial/black bezel would be pretty cool. Better yet, blue bezel and sunburst dial would be pretty ridiculous!

Does anyone think that Rolex created four solid gold DSSD cases for Bamford, or is this just another of Bamford's PVD or DLC jobs?

I'm betting on the latter.

I think these are SS watches heavily gold plated for BAPE ,fugly not more not less feel pitty for someone who has such a poor taste.

This may be a historic moment, Neil, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one...it is terrible. Sorry, my friend.

I'm not a fan. Doesn't even look good.

Bramford watches don't void the Rolex warranty right?

Bamford provides their own papers and warranty.

Rolex won't touch them.

I don't see Rolex supporting the creation of such a piece.

If not voided, they are going to charge the owner to bring it back to factory specs before returning it.

I've yet to see them improve on a Rolex design. They certainly didn't this time either.

I don't see any hallmarks....so my guess is it is a plated SS case.

Not a fan!
