Buckle discomfort .....help me out

So, as my recent posts indicate, I'm new to Panerai. The tang buckle on my 111 is killing my wrist, the inside edge rubs nonstop. Can anyone recommend a deployment buckle that fits the rubber strap? The watch came with a deployment buckle, but it seems way too narrow for the rubber to fit through....or option B, maybe a buckle that is more comfortable. Has anyone else experienced this same complaint?
**posted this from my phone, I apologize for the huge picture. ...not sure how to control that**

This is unusual as i think the rubber strap is extremely soft and comfortable. Do you have the same problem with your leather strap?

The rubber strap itself is great, it's that inside buckle edge that gets me. I have not even put the leather strap on, it's not my style...it'll be for sale on here soon, lol.

No, I have only tried the buckle pictured ......is a thumbnail buckle a deployment style? Can I get a link or a picture of what will work with the rubber strap?

It looks like the deployment part that is visible.

Is it because of the edges are a little sharp? If you're willing to alter the OEM buckle, I'd go round that area with a Dremel. Otherwise, you could consider an aftermarket Panerai style buckle on eBay and modify at will if needed.

Two options I would suggest: 1) round out the sharp edges but this will impact the value of the buckle or 2) buy a flat buckle that doesn't curve

Slightly loose; one hole is very tight and then next let's the watch turn a little......I prefer loose for all my watches.

Get any 24mm tang buckle strap, I personally use them from Crown & Buckle.

I had this problem with my 305 and it is due to the curvature of the buckle itself. The flatter it is the more comfortable it will be... Not sure why they designed is with so much curvature. I replaced mine with a standard thumbnail buckle like the one pictured above and the issue is gone. The thumbnail buckle is a lot flatter.

Thanks for the feedback. I have ordered a thumbnail buckle and also a deployment buckle designed for thicker straps; not knowing exactly what I want, I didn't want to go "all in" so to speak so I am trying out some cheaper variants from this seller. Not sure if I'm breaking the rules here posting a link, but I am not affiliated with this seller at all, just passing on what seems to be some reasonable prices.
