Cape Cod cloths on my GMT
Here are some before and after shots. Long story short, with some elbow grease, these cloths brought the polished areas on my GMT ALMOST up to factory new.

Love the scent of cape cod cloth but I don't use them anymore. If I'm going to polish, I'm going to polish with a buffing wheel.

Good job
I'm waiting on some of these cloths myself to fix my scratched PCL's In my experience wheels are great but if you're not careful you can cause serious irreparable damage. |

These cloths work great, and I use them myself. Just remember that when you use these cloths, they are abrasive as well, so stay of the "edges" of the case, and off fluted bezel edges, and don't "sand" on the crown etc. You can literly round off the edges and corners. These edges can be done with a softer cloth, with the Cape Cod residue used from the polishing of the flat surfaces. You can even rub the Cape Cod towels onto the soft towel to get the polishing liquid applied if "sanding" isn't necessary. It'll shine em up that way without the "sanding" part. Trust me.. I've seen them used like sandpaper...and its not pretty. Be careful...I repeat...be careful.

Even though I use metal polishers everyday I normally only work with aluminium and brass so I'm not used to stainless and it's never my pocket that gets hurt should I get it wrong , thanks for the advice |

Cape Cod cloths work great for steel watches. I know some people don't like them but I feel it's hard to do any damage to your watch with one of these. Looks great
