I love wearing the 1665 which actually 'seems' a little thicker than the 16600/16660 due to the plexiglass crystal. IMHO, I think the 116660 wears too thick and clunky. If your wrist is 8".......I would say it wears decent, but my wrist is 7". BTW, I did purchase it when my wrist was 7.5", but I lost a bunch of weight several years ago.

I've sworn-off of the Ceramics and don't think I will be buying another unless it is the Platona. I just added the 2nd 1665 recently........I could have easily bought a 116600 for the money spent.

Very true I asked as you have the 116660 so it seem a logical progression to the have the intermediate 116600.

Must admit there is a certain appeal to the classis SD's and I admire you collection, the Platona would be a good crown to the collection

I bought the DSSD at a different time in my life several years ago when my wrist size was just a little larger than 7.5". I decided to change my lifestyle and lost a considerable amount of weight through diet and exercise (more than 60 lbs). My wrist size is now slightly smaller than 7".

My New Years resolution was to rid myself of anything > 40mm, so the DSSD will be on its way out. I just don't ever wear it.

Wow, and to think a member on here was considering (and was largely advised against) buying a second SS Daytona a few days ago. These photos prove that if particular reference blows your skirt up and you want more than one, then go for it!

Great shots of a great collection
