You're not alone. I don't own the LV-C but it's easy to understand why people here love it.

Submariner hulk help
I love how it can be a different looking watch in various lighting.
Not sure if I'd get one if I already owned a sub though . My second watch from my GMT to LV is a difference though IMO.

I had the option of ALL watches and chose the Hulk (and Platona). So IMO you can't go wrong with the hulk. It goes with everything.

Submariner hulk help
They are 2 different watches. You could have both.

Talking from experience, green and then followed by the blue, can't go wrong.

I think once you have the hulk you will love it. I have an LVc and SDc in a 4 watch rotation right now.

Nothing wrong with a narrow themed collection:) I had subs and GMTs only for a while and I had a few.

Nothing wrong with owning 2 subs. I think they are different enough to be in the same collection.

I don't see an issue having both. I'm sure there are many with an "all Sub" collection.

I have both the LN and LV. I bought the black LN first to "go with everything" and to own the classic. Then, I loved the sub so much but wanted one that is not seen much in the wild. So, I bought the green LV. I have seen tons of black subs out in public over the years but only once have I seen a LV in the wild.

I like the combo of the two. Not sure I would have the LV as my only watch but makes great sense if you can have both!

If you already have a Sub, I wouldn't get the Hulk as a second watch. Maybe consider a GMT, Daytona, or something else. However, if you're attracted to the Hulk, maybe sell your black Sub and get the Hulk.

GMT - don't like GMTs at all - I like clean, simple and look at that GMT hand like a scratch on my dial! Daytona - I know this is THE one and most popular..I don't like Chronos and only do ceramic bezels. DSSD - tooooo friggin thick! Tried it on twice and reckon I would catch it on multiple things! All the others, day dates all of them just do NOTHING for me..It's the sub and only the sub for me call me boring but that's it. My other is Omega Seamaster Pro blue which I love also. |

This is the thing too..people say sell..but WHERE lol? ebay? will lose 500 in fees alone..the sales thread here no one even REPLIED to my Omega Spectre thread (sold out everywhere and going nearly 1000 over RRP on ebay) so don't think that would achieve much! I think a lot of buyers here are based in the US and I am UK

Sit it out for a few weeks. See how you feel then. You might move on to another model in the meantime.

I have an LN and LV that get most of my wrist time. The change in dial color is enough of a difference for me. Love them that much. Usually when I wear something different it's because I want polished center links for a changeup.
