Some **VERY** bad fakes on Ebay

I don't usually do this, but I came across these on Ebay and wanted to post them up so they can get removed if appropriate.

Definite (and very bad) fakes:

Wasn't sure about this one (the date looks off to me). I bought my Speedmaster from this seller, so this one should be good, but wanted to make sure.

Why even bother? If they're that bad then they're fooling no-one and you're just wasting people's time looking at them.

Find some really good, not even sure if they are fakes to post if you must. At least then you're maybe helping to stop someone being ripped off. The amount of pointless canal st type crap that gets posted in this forum means that most of the guys with real knowledge that would be a great help don't even bother to look anymore.

Many of these blatant bad watches have a litany of bids.
This forum has managed to get rid of many of these via reporting to eBay.

Most of those bids are people having a laugh knowing exactly what they're bidding on.

Whatever, people want to waste time on this sorta crap then more fool them.

Not everyone is a watch expert, and not everyone knows the first thing about Rolex. Unsuspecting idiots do bid and buy even very bad fakes, not knowing any better thinking they are getting a good deal on a Rolex

It takes 30 seconds to report an Ebay listing. In fact, in the time it took you to waste your spare time responding to this thread (twice) you could've just reported the listings and been done with it

Not everyone is a watch expert, and not everyone knows the first thing about Rolex. Unsuspecting idiots do bid and buy even very bad fakes, not knowing any better thinking they are getting a good deal on a Rolex



A fake is a fake is a fake. Doesn't matter if it's a Canal St. special or a $900 replica. They all do the same thing; rip off unsuspecting buyers. Without someone to report them the auctions will go on and someone will likely make a big mistake that we could've prevented.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't know enough about Rolex' history to know any of the vintage models. I wasn't sure on the last two, but the first two are definite garbage.

I removed the 3rd and 4th links in light of your post.
