+ Some say Oysters are an Aphrodisiac +

Hey guys,

So I finally got around to doing a family shot of my Rolex collection. From left to right, top to bottom: Submariner 14060 (1999), Daytona 116520 (2004), GMT-Master 1675 (1978), Explorer 2 16570 (2008), Explorer 14270 (2000), Datejust 16014 (1985).

Thanks for looking!

Thanks and no, I think ceramic is cool . Being a Rolex fan since the 90s, these were the models I aspired to.

One of the things I regretted was never taking a Rolex collection photo before some of my older references were sold. In any event, very well done.
Thanks Eric, I think a model that's been calling me lately is a vintage Root Beer nipple dial TT GMT... which means I'll be getting into *gasp* PM territory my friend.

Now that one would be a great addition and a lovely compliment to your SS GMT. Be careful about getting into PM territory, it is very hard to get out of if you know what I mean.

So which one gets the most wrist time?

My guess would be the Datejust surprisingly.

I did go through a phase where my DJ got the most wrist time, but lately it's been between the Daytona and pepsi.

Great collection, all classics. May want to correct the Explorer title to '114270'. Funny how it looks slightly smaller than the DJ -- both 36mm.

Thank you, actually it's a 14270. Fixed 👍. And you're right the DJ does look bigger in person too, I think because of the fluted bezel.

Thanks, and you're right. I initially planned to get a blue dialed DJ, but this vintage silver one just spoke to me. So instead, I got a nice root beer lined up... 😉

Not only do we share names, we also share a very similar taste! Minus the Pepsi and Daytona, we have the same collection!

I opted for the Speedmaster over the Daytona and the Pepsi slot has yet to be filled. I'd go for a rootbeer, but cannot find a good example around here.

Thanks Ralph. The 1675 does get a lot of wrist time. As you can see, it's the only date watch with the correct date 😉.
