I am starting to love Ball- the only problem is i have not seen them in the UK! I have even just had a look on ebay and they are all in Taiwan and some in the USA.

Great watch
thanks for the pic

This is possibly one of the brightest Ball to date, rated at T100. It has BOTH superluminova and H3 lume, best of both worlds. However, its not a small watch, it has a case size of 46mm.

Love the looks but 46 would knock me out of the game for this model.............however, they have others I find very tempting. Really nice and I would like to know if there are other makers using the tritium tubes.

I have wondered when someone would do this as they make fantastic night sights for firearms and I would think INCREDIBLE lume for watch markers.

Yes, there are other brands with tritium tubes. Traser and Luminox are two brands that used tritium tubes for their watches. However, i dont think their lume is as bright.

I have a Ball Fireman which I enjoy wearing at night very much because it's so bright, and which I purchased from Jamie Houghton here on TRF about 8 months ago.
However, I think the date window is a bit small....has anyone seen the physician's watch...you can easily calculate pulse by looking at the sweep hand against a scale?
Very cool.
best,
dan

GMT version will be in 44mm for those wanting a smaller pilot watch.

Love it!

I am seeing real quickly that the Ball Watch Co. is going to cost me some $$

Between this one and the Chrono Limited that you posted I am going crazy deciding!

I was at a Ball sponsored event tonight and I saw this Aviator in person. All I can say is WOW! I think I have found my next watch. The Aviator has 100 millicuries tritium gas tubes that make it so bright. Ball actually has a license from the NRC to handle and distribute these watches because of the amount of nuclear material used in these high lumed watches.
