You guys see the trashed DRSD on eBay?

This thing has had a rough go. I am sure she will sell for big bucks

What's an outer inner bezel?

Also the comment about the movement missing "many parts" is kinda scary.

Any additional thoughts on this piece. Wrong case back for that serial? I'm surprised at how high its climbed.

I won't be surprised if it does. Looks like a mark3 dial in a case with a 1.7 serial.

There are always returns on E-Bay no matter what the Seller writes in the Auction. All the Buyer has to do is file a PayPal "not as described" claim and the Seller will be forced to return it.

Sold for such a high amount due to the early case/serial number.

Is this considered a thin case model?

That is a shocking amount of money for it. I would think that a poorly tampered dial would lose 80 pct of its value alone

Does any of you think the watch is real? Or am I the only person that doesn't like it? A 1.7 million with a 2nd series caseback marked 1967

Haha, TBH I never got that far with it, I was so focused on all the problems stated about the watch. Maybe that's the ploy with disclosing such huge issues as all the missing parts in the movement - to deflect attention away from considering the possibility it's a fake.

Stupid price dial is screwed needs refinishing which in turn isn't good, movement screwed needs new lots of parts no hands either and a case with caseback that's battered - I have no idea who or why anyone would buy this and what they'd expect to do / acheive in long run ? Can experts advise on the logic and future value if it's even genuine ?

I assume the new buyer/dealer is buying the case/serial and will make back his $22k after swapping the right parts (i.e.: movement, dial, hands)...

That said, what do you do with a this damaged dial?
