Guys newbie question here

My brother goes to school in NY and I want to buy a watch from a Canadian seller and have it shipped to my brother. Are there any taxes/duties involved?

Please educate me! Thanks!

The items must be declared. Your shipper (importer) will have the proper paperwork to be completed.
