2016 Price Increase

Any idea if Rolex takes a price increase this year? If so, any idea what it will be ? I assume historically they take a similar increase? I have a GMT2, going to jewelers mutual and have an appraisal with a current price but want to insure a value that would include a 2016 price increase if it looks like we will have one.

Thank you....!!!

Ask any salesman at an ad and they tell you it's going up so buy now. They work for ads so they must know.

When does this price increase take effect? Is the price increase affecting the rest of the Eurozone?

As far as i know it will take place 1ste Feb indeed. Also in the Netherlands from the 1ste Feb but there is not a new price list out in the open yet. Tax in the Netherlands is 2% higher as in Germany so do the math. What will happen in the rest of europe i don't know

What model gmt2 u have? Assuming it's a 116710, even if they go up 5% this year, that's only a ~$425 difference. Id say just get the appraisal / insurance now and not worry about the increase. God forbid something we're to happen and u have no insurance, you'll be out much more than ~$425.

This is a good point. Just get the insurance now and if it really bothers you update it later

Lots of speculation these days, they used to have regular price increases every Feb.

I can't even remember the last time they had one it has been so long.

wouldn't be surprised...it's been a few years in the U.S. although the dollar is strong right now. The warranty went up to 5 yrs recently so maybe it will happen. No one knows for sure except the people in Switzerland working in the green buildings.
