Everest Bands and a 114300...
Question for the experts - I think I know the answer but want to be certain. I tried Google searching this question but came with up with a lot of irrelevant articles.
Since Everest Bands make a strap for the 214270, which I believe is the exact same case as the 114300, will their straps fit my OP 39? Been looking for a solid leather strap to switch it up a bit.. Thanks all! |

I would actually call Everest direct in this regards as the customer service there is very knowledgeable. My inclination is that yes it should be direct fit as it is the same case but you never know Rolex could have aligned the hole a tad off for kicks.

That's a good point... I never thought of the orientation of the lug holes. I'll have to drop them a quick note. I was thinking they might have updated their website with the launch of the 114300 if it shares the exact case as the Explorer.

I bet you it's the same but you never know. Interestingly current subs and GMT's match up well but must use spring bars native to the watch from what I have read.
For instance you can use a glidelock on a current ceramic GMT, but you must use the GMT spring bars. Rolex |

Hey did you find out if this was the case?! I'm thinking about an OP 114300 and thinking the same to customise. Tho I'm wondering if I should get the Explorer 1 214270 instead of the OP 114300. I've heard the 114300 is hard as hell to see in low light.

I have Everest bands and they will fit various of my watches, including my 214270 even though they were not purchased for that particular model. As said before give Everest a call to see what they say!

Just thought I would re-open this thread up for those OP 114300 39mm owners interested in strap variety.
The new OP 39mm is essentially the same case as the 39mm 214270 Explorer I. I confirmed this when swapping out OEM bracelets and both bracelets fit 100% perfect when swapped. Being that the straps from Everest have some cross compatibility (i.e. the rubber strap for the Ceramic GMT also fits the Ceramic Sub, Explorer I 39mm, etc) I had full confidence that their strap would also fit the new OP 114300. Low and behold, the proof is in the pictures (this strap I also use on the 116610LV): |

Thanks! I dropped some good money on a Bergeon 7825 and being able to go from Rubber to steel takes seconds (prepping the case and lugs with painter's tape takes longer). The Oyster bracelet looks best without a doubt but some color pop once in awhile doesn't harm .

With the rubber strap on the only difference between an OP 39 and EX I 39 is the dial and hands. |

I actually have the black version of the Everest rubber strap as well and will post here when I get around to mounting it.
As for the deployment clasp, that I wouldn't be sure because the clasp is an Oysterclasp versus the Oysterlock on the sports models. I do however like the rubber tang versions as it allows me to leave my bracelet(s) in mint condition, clasp and bracelet. BTW emkwan love your youtube video on this watch! |

Exact model on Everest?
Can you post a link or description so I'd know exactly which Everest to buy?
I'm going black for a casual option! |

I did it! Received and placed my Everest strap today.
The Clasp fits ok too! Wears loose at the recommended sizing YMMV Love the look but what really wins me over is the feel So light! |
