lots of discussion on this

can't loose with a 44mm luminor handwound
I would go further and stick with the now discontinued ETA based models...

have fun hunting

I would stick to a classic one. All the Special Edition ones don't hold is value as much as you lose a lot on the resale. I would stick to a 44mm Luminor type. Just go with whatever you like and stick to the more base models.

I really like my Pam 359 but am thinking about flipping it and getting an AP 15400.

Probably a luminor is your best bet. Likely the easiest to flip if you change your mind.

For 44mm - 000, 005, 111, 112.
For 47mm - 372, 422

I don't disagree with the 232 love. It's the bomb. However, I really feel the crown guard is what Panera is known for, or at least recognized by most. That said, the RAD was the first....historically speaking. Enjoy the hunt!!

I'd recommend the 233. A classic and very versatile

233 here too. Great size, useful complication, 8 days, domed crystal, reasonably priced.

233 is just sublime. 111 is great too, but the 233 is in a league of its own

How about the 312 or 388? I'm drawn to these non CE models.

I really like the 312, too. Sandwich, sub seconds, 1950 case, crown guard, in-house auto.
