Flipping of 26400so for Rolex Daytona rose gold
Hi guys would sincerely seek for opinions. As I was thinking of flipping my 26400so for a Daytona rose gold. Firstly is it gonna be a good decision. Secondly I was caught between a black dial and chocolate dial for the Daytona rose gold. Hope to see some opinions from you guys. To keep the 26400 or to flip it. Many thanks.

I would do the deal. The Daytona is stunning. I prefer the chocolate dial but the black is strong also.

If you don't like the AP anymore or don't wear it enough to justify keeping it or you have other reasons why it needs to go, then it makes sense. I think that this particular AP is the absolute best 44mm ROO in the AP portfolio, so I would never do this trade. In fact, I would do the opposite trade.

That's a big change...daytona must seem tiny after wearing the 44mm ROO?
If straight up trade I think you'd be getting a great deal value wise. I'm a big fan of the black dial...if I was going to own any rose gold watch, good chance that would be the one. Look forward to your decision |

I happen to agree with everything above. Are you 100% you're okay with the size difference? If you are it's a beautiful watch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd do it - prefer the Daytona over that AP. beware, chocolate dial can be hard to read if telling time is actually even important to you. Black version for me.

Agree, I like all 3 but seems like you are wanting a bit more colour and show and on the Daytona the choco is harder to read so black for me too.

What is it about the AP that’s giving rise to consider moving it on?
Being absolutely honest, those Daytonas look awful on you – and if it’s not the thickness/bulk of the AP that’s the issue, then you should stick with it. Unfortunately, if it’s a case of wanting rose gold, then a ROC with matching bracelet or ROOC is going to require a hefty outlay to swap over to – not so much, if at all, should you go ROC on leather. |

RG Daytona for a ROO 44?
Not a chance. The Daytona looks bad in RG. And the chocolate dial is absolutely monotone. I would leave this one for the girls. |

I prefer the AP but if you are tired of the ROO then ship it

If you're looking for a change...that's one way to get it done.
I actually really like some of the rose gold daytonas... But, my gut reaction is that the Daytona will be a catch and release for you - you'll be back in a 44mm AP at some point. Good luck on your decision. |

I wouldn't.
But if it sings to you then enjoy the incoming. Will wear VERY small compared to AP. |

The Rolex RG never did it for me (just didn't go along with my skin tone). If you're feeling it, black dial all the way. AP RG is gorgeous...just saying. Good luck!

I would keep the AP, one of my favorite novelties. The Rose gold Daytona I thought I would like, tried it on at AD and hated it. Got the 116718 instead. That being said, its only my personal opinion and you should get what you love.

First I prefer SS AP to RG Daytona, so would not do the trade, had a RG daytona on strap with ceramic bezel, it's gonna look tiny next to the AP, I only like daytonas with ceramic bezel, so instead of trading maybe you can get in strap for around 18K brand new, got mine brand new from grey dealer for 17.5K euros, if you need to ge the daytona get black dil at least, not choco, impossible or hard to tell the time 70% of the time
