Incoming - Not quite a submariner, but...

While it's not a Rolex, I am very surprised how much I am loving this $20 Casio. It's got classic styling, cool features and feels like butter on the wrist. My wife doesn't understand how I get the same amount of satisfaction from wearing this Casio as I do my Rolex.
I'm curious to see if the watch enthusiasts get it.

Nice!

My Casio is my go to watch for all around abuse! I like the calculator version you have.

NEVER let your wife realise of that !! Or for your next birthday you'll get another Casio instead of a Rolex !

I'd love to get one again - last one was in high school. Not sure I'd use the calculator though as using the phone is easier. Still, great memories.

looks roughly similar to the case of a RM...now if only richard mille made one with the same functions but achieved through mechanical engineering rather than electronics

Now that would be interesting with a price tag of 10M

That's exactly my watch in 4th standard and possibly was my first watch ever!

Thanks everyone!

I originally picked it up for use at the gym, but have surprisingly not been able to take it off.

I used the stopwatch to time something in the oven and set the duel time to Italy. Ironically the calculator option seems to be the least useful due to the size of the buttons.

My sister calls it the Marty McFly watch.

I'm fairly certain my next Rolex will be PM, so I may need to wait at least a couple years.

Nice! I've got that one and the gold colored one. I use it at work. I'm hesitant to use the gold colored one cause it looks so tacky on me.

it's just because we had one as kids, if you were in your 20's I think you would say never and just wear your Rolex :-)

Nothing can replace my Tudor Submariner(s). Except, my Casio (when working out or yard work).

I had one as a kid at school and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I loved the different functions it had - calculator, stop watch, etc. It was probably one of my favourite watches I've ever owned.

Does anyone remember the Casio remote control watch.
That was so much fun in school. When the teacher would put on a video to watch there was always some joker in the class who had one. They would drive the teacher nuts. Changing the channel, turning up and down the volume. The teachers never knew what was going on

My $20 casio says hello!

It is the only watch that reminds me of my childhood.

I think there is just something special about these retro casios

A big part of my interest in rolex is the retro styling, so in allot of ways, its no surprise I would dig the Casio. Plus having additional functions is a nice change of pace from my rolex.

I love me some cheap Casios. My two favorites are my calculator watch and my Casio Royale. Bonus points to the GShock DW5600 and 6900 series as well.

It's not the same kind of enjoyment as even my cheaper mechanical watches (much less my favorite mechanical pieces) but I still enjoy the heck out of wearing them for what they are.
