Which addiction is worse?

When I first arrived at this forum I was a certified watch-a-holic, most afflicted by Rolex, of course. Since my arrival I was pleased to learn that there are others out there who are as deranged as I am about watches. More importantly I realized that there are other places to go to be around complete lunatics aside from the local Physc ward

Now it seems my addiction has grown even worse. Reflecting upon my very first thread I stated " Once I get this new Rolex I know I won't be getting another one for a very long time." That post, mind you, was less than two months ago and I now find myself aggressively shopping for a used Sub

Whats worse, is that I have now acquired a new addiction , this place. It seems as though if I don't get my daily TRF fix I get edgy. I find myself actually planning TRF into my daily schedule and thinking about threads and replies when I'm not even home. My wife now refers to me as a "barricaded suspect" when I enter the office to log on. She also thinks I have completely lost it, now that I sit in front of the computer laughing out loud to ..............myself

You people do realize that you are a terrible influence, don't you

BTW, sorry for the really, really long thread...........I'm bored

CJ I can fully understand your addiction with TRF. Whatever the time, due to our global membership, there's always likely to be someone on-line to share your views with and more importantly, to have a laugh with. It's what makes this place so popular.

You have my deepest sympathies, my son. However, you now know the secret of TRF. It's founding philosophy was to become totally addictive. Crack and smack have nothing on this place. With effort and will power, you may be able to break the crack addiction. Unfortunately, you can never wean yourself off TRF or your Rolex addiction. If you ever lose your internet connection, you will likely expire from withdrawal problems.

It is a sad situation into which you have fallen. But look on the bright side. You have a lot of company.

My name is John, I have a problem......
What's even worse, I think my wife supports it????
I was at a clients this week, who happens to be about a km from my "Dealer".
So, even before she asks how my day was , she says " So which watch did you buy today?"
Worse part was, I didn't even stop in

It's starting to look that way, Fransie. You know what they say, "you have to make your own silver linings" right?

Luckily, your cops over there in the land of the tulip don't have to walk beats. That clip-clop sound from the wooden shoes would drive me friggen crazy

Neither John... I think his police service is trying to promote employment equity. Since there are no officers on his service who are visible minorities, they put Craig out on the beat to show that his service DOES hire guys much shorter than average height.

That's not it at all John - really he is being featured on the new show on TLC called "Little People, Big World." It shows people of Craig's height trying to overcome issues they face in a world of normal sized things........good to show him walking his beat and the various techniques used to prevent being trampled on......
