Luminor Cases and Strap Change of PAM634
Hello everybody,
After hearing all those complaints regarding the latest revisements on Luminor cases I thought it would be helpfull to some people to prepare a short video showing how to change the strap of the models with "spring bar. As you can see on the video it seems much easier than using the screwdriver : Strap Change of PAM634 I also made an article showing all the differences between 3 different Luminor cases with close up photos. Here is the link of the review : Luminor Cases Many thanks for reading. Serdar |

Thanks for the video! I actually like the spring bars on the 634 makes for easy strap changes and no screw slips.

Thanks for this. I too like the spring bars since you have holes in the lugs to push the bar spring in to release. I think we'll have much less damage from strap changes with this type of lug. Snap back doesn't bother me as the deepest I go under water is 9ft.

I'm sorry, but spring bars are not easier than a simple screw with a perfect fitting screwdriver like Panerai provides, and trying to say a snap back case is an improvement is another exaggeration. They can make screwback cases more flush (and they do) compared to exhibition backs. 390/zero is thinner fitting than a 111 for example. Also, even as expertly done as yourself, those springbars are scratching the back of the lugs with each install. A non-slipping screw leaves no marks.
I love optimism, but Panerai took a step back in my humble opinion. For the record, I'm a big Panerai fan, but won't say springbars and snap back cases are ok.
