Tag in for Service.
Hey team...
I'm so excited! I just dropped my very first "nice" watch off for service today. It is a Tag Classic Automatic 2000 sliver dial. I bought the watch new from Ben Bridge back in 2002 as a college graduation gift to myself. Over the years I never really wore it, but after I acquired my 116610LN the Tag seemed more suitable for a daily beater. The Tag means a lot to me and I know the watchmaker I took it to will do an amazing job. It will be fully serviced along with a polish. I asked about replacing the main spring and he said he would inspect it to determine if it was necessary. Accroding to him the orginal Tag main springs are better than the replacements. I'll post pictures in a few weeks. |

I've been wearing my 2000 quartz! over my other watches for the last 6 months. Its about 35mm and very light. It cost me £650 in 1995.

The 2000 is a very comfortable watch! I'm sure when I get it back it will be my daily for a while.
Funny thing is I've had more comments on my Tag than my Rolex. Then again they've usually been "is that a rolex?" |
