What's up with my jubilee bracelet?

My jubilee bracelet is different from the one I've seen in stores. My watch is a dj from 71, were jubilee bracelets different back then? I know my watch is real; I just want to know why the bracelet is so light and why watch link has two parts on the other side.

Congrats on the DJ! You have a folded link bracelet. Thus was just how they were made at the time.

Are the new jubilee bracelets heavier than the folded link ones?

Older jubilee bracelets have folded links like in yours, yours look pretty stretch but that is very common on such older bracelets.
