Good old San Antonio. Visited there a few times while stationed at Ft. Hood. Nice piece.

Hard to realize that the Alamo is in the center of San Antonio.

The Alamo is way smaller than you think.

True enough especially since most of the surrounding compound was destroyed Easy to see why 130 or so men couldn't hold off a few thousand highly trained soldiers

I'm guessing probably about 75 or 80 degrees? I miss Texas! I used to live in Dallas and travel to SA often on vacation.

I got yelled at there by a Ranger after asking him if the Ozzy Osbourne story was true.

I like your watch.

OP, nice pic!

The Alamo is sacred ground in Texas so I'd like to think Ozzy wasn't in his right mind... But that was a long time ago to be sure

Ozzy did pee, but apparently on a 60 foot statue near the building itself. He was heavily into alcohol and drugs in 1982 when it happened. He was so drunk he was apparently wearing Sharons dress!
