So you like that BLNR huh?
I cant stand PCL on the oyster band. Scratch magnet or too flashy - from the moment I saw someone with PCL's I never thought it looked "correct".
When the GMT C came out on PCL - m'eh. BLNR ok I can live with dual color ceramic but let me change that horrible bracelet. I had shopped out a BNIB for $8200 which is a good deal. Couldn't find the braclet. WTB does nothing for you on TRF for something so rare and in demand. Found it on chrono24, in Austria. $10,200 US to put it together, shipped and insured. That's a solid deal and I have both bracelets just in case (the PCL oyster clasp could/would be used with Everest strap at some point in time) So don't tell me it's not pretty. The super jubilee bracelet is so gorgeous. Don't say it's because all that work lifting bales of hay make the super jubilee clasp too flimsy for your manly man work. Is there not more like this because you just can't source the clasp? If they sold it like this would you buy it? If they sold it with the option PCL oyster and this too would you buy them both? What do people think about this other than "nice watch".... because i'm sort of shocked more of this isn't happening. I mean seriously, i walk around with the feeling that there are maybe less than a handful in the world. In the land where 9 out of 10 random wearers have on a black submariner - to have this one makes me smile. What does TRF think about this?' BTW gmt line used to have the jubilee - why not any more? Clasp sturdiness? Also - gmt line used to have brushed oyster - why the push to move everything but submariner and explorer to PCL? |

I love the look!
i have a Blnr and would love to have it on Jubilee. I wonder if the Easylink clasp from the standard Oyster bracelet would fit. Love being able to vary the length so easily. Jubilee is a winner on just about any Rolex in my book. |

Most people love the PCL, a few mainly just here not in the real world dislike it. Jubilee looks great on it as well but would definitely not be a hot seller.

Love the oyster that came with my watch. Have worn it in original PCL and later in brushed version. Love both looks.

OP It's funny because you just said two of my all time favorite "Rolex sayings" (I'm creating a top 10 list) in your very first sentence. " I hate PCL's " and " it's too flashy ". Great stuff. Buy a sub. You won't have to "live" with that " dual color ceramic " or the flashy PCL's. You will get the best of both worlds.

Yep. It's funny that the OP said the Oyster with PCL's is flashy....the Jubilee bracelet is much flashier than the oyster bracelet. To me, Jubilee signals a more dainty watch that is best suited for dress attire. Oyster bracelets appear more sturdy and are more suited for sport watches. |

Although the super jubilee has polished center links but it's broken up, not as loud, more refined even. GMT came with jubilee until x amount of years so that's not really an argument what it comes on stock. Its a pilots watch not divers explorer or race car so it's actually backwards it's not on jubilee as the standard. Plus it's not like I put it on a submariner. And I know there is a photo with Paul Newman wearing a Daytona on jubilee. Oyster PCL in the safe anyway, there if I need it. |

If you want a really high end watch with an even more impressive horology then Rolex and at the same time be well under the radar where nobody knows what you are wearing go with a JLC. IMHO

Best solution for me was to buy the 97200 (SubC) bracelet then I can have both.....BLNR gets the most wrist time by a long shot!

Jubilee could have been a factory option, IMHO it is a combo that works and looks great! But I do like the Oyster bracelet as well, and the PCL's to me add a dressier appearance while the Jubilee gives it a sportier more casual look. Either way is a winning combo!

I like the oyster bracelet and the jubilee bracelet.
I like the way the watch is and cannot vote in the poll because of the poorly worded choices

I wasn't originally a fan of the PCL, which is why I decided to get a Sub. 2 years later, I returned and bought the BLNR with PCL (and politely refused the offer to brush the links or replace the bracelet). It grew on me.

The Jubilee looks nice. But I think it looks better as Rolex intended it to look, with PCLs.
