Well we will have to handle it first, size might still be an issue for some, but I think in the main it will be HUGE.

the new Daytona does look more on the high tech side and lose some of that old charm n retro feel.
I'm keeping my black n hope to add the white in future.

I think it's absolutely stunning.

Here's why it is slightly overrated. It probably took Rolex 10% of the effort to create this watch in comparison to the efforts put towards let's say a YM2 or Skydweller.

Is it a brand new model? Yes, but really it's just a Daytona with a new bezel. The movement was already created.

Do I want one??? YES, absolutely.

I think they are fine. I'm not going to run out and get one though. I don't see that it is much different than the one that I currently have. It definitely is not a game changer but just a progression.

IMO progression is what defines the Daytona and the success that comes with it. The watch has never been, and should not ever be "re-invented". The evoloution, success and collectability of this icon is all about subtleties.

Best thing to come from Rolex this year. Also everyone was pleading for it and they listened.
