It evokes, for me, feelings of familiarity with the Hublot brand; a brand which is characterised by a preperdonernce of gold and black configurations across many models. It may not do the same for you: I didn't mean to cause you to spill your coffee.

I didn't spill it, just spit it out all over the table!!! Lol.

Yeah I get what your saying. I just never really thought there was a Rolex that could be compared to Hublot. AP? Yes. IWC? Yes. Rolex? NO.

To me, color configuration alone would never draw the connection to a certain brand. To me this is the closest it gets and i just can't get on board! Also not a huge Hublot fan but I am a huge fan of this Rolex reference.

I know what you mean. Two totally different watches, one which I like and the other which I don't. But at first glance, the colour combo says to me Hublot. Perhaps my first experience with Hublot was that colour combo, and I'll forever associate them!

Glad your coffee wasn't wasted anyway! :)

It's a beauty! No budget for me to buy one. I would probably have to sell my home here to afford one!

That's the Daytona my wife wants me to buy. Thank you, dear! Would like to have some $ in the retirement fund, however.
