Seadweller 16660 with service dial, hands, bezel and crystal

I just bought a 1983 model 16660 Seadweller. I was told it had a Rolex service some years back. The watch has a Luminova service dial (SWISS), Luminova hands, Luminova bezel, and the crystal has the service-etched coronet at 6. 3035 movement.

I am told the work was done about 6-7 years ago (no paperwork, but obviously given all the replaced items it was done by Rolex)

What would the cost have been to replace all those items? I am guessing quite a pretty penny.

Seadweller 16660 with service dial, hands, bezel and crystal

Dial about 800-1000
Hands at service centres in my country always come with free new hands. Bezel insert is about 100 dollars
Crystal is approx 250-300

So the full service cost around $2000. Wow! Brand new watch for all intents and purposes.

I agree, and glad I didn't. I got an extremely good deal on this watch from a seller who wasn't quite as knowledgeable as I am. He needed to sell more than I needed to buy.

Within minutes of the sale I had the watch at my local watchmaker who opened it, checked it out, pressure tested it and even polished the band to give it the satin finish and take out a few desk diver marks.

I got a 1989 5513 sub fully serviced with new dial, hands, crown, lume pearl in HK a couple of years ago for about us$800, but as David says, HK is a lot cheaper than the USA RSC servicing.

Curious what this newly acquired 16660 with service dial, service hands, service bezel insert and service micro etched crystal might be worth on the secondary market? With a 93160 band with little stretch, case in great condition.
