Incoming - My First Tudor!

I've been looking to add a Tudor to my small collection for some time now. I initially was torn between the Heritage Chrono, Ranger, and Black Bay Blue, based on the stunning pictures and reviews from the forum. However, after trying all three on in person, I felt that they just didn't look good on my wrist. Really a shame, because I very much like all three references. Same thing happened with the Pelagos Blue and North Flag; they just didn't sit right on my wrist, unfortunately. I was very excited when Tudor announced the Black Bay 36 this year at Basel, thinking that surely the smaller size would fit me better. So I headed into my AD to get on the list. While I was browsing, I noticed a Black Bay Black in the case (the first time I had seen it in person). Incredible! Never had a watch hit me like that! (Well, I guess I should say I've never had a watch I could afford hit me like that, haha.) Here we are, less than a week later, and it's all mine! Wearing it on the Tudor fabric strap for now. Couldn't be happier!!

Russell Korman?! I about had a heart attack when they emailed me and told me they had just sold the watch was looking at a few hours earlier! When they said they got this one in, I had to jump on it!

Yep! Went in to see it on Monday afternoon and decided to pull the trigger. Sorry if that was the same one you had your eye on! Glad you got one too, the dial and bezel are so great.

Funny how many guys around here seem to be chasing the last of the black bezel ETA's. With only around six months of production I think they'll be pretty sought after, if not particularly valuable.
