Swapped out the aftermarket dial on my 16013. Love the outcome!

I never had experience with aftermarket dials. I ended up purchasing a Rolex with an aftermarket mother of pearl dial which i personally actually liked. After receiving feedback from a few forums and noticing that the aftermarket dial actually slightly covered the date numbers through the date window, i decided to swap out the face with an authentic Rolex dial. I couldn't be happier with the outcome

Thanks! I'll show you the pic they had when the watch was listed for sale, it's what had me sold! But the fact that the date window was made too small really turned me off :/ made it really difficult for me to take pictures of the watch because the numbers would always get cut off. But now she looks clean :D

Love the pyramid dial. Beautiful!!! I did the same to my 16013 removing a Rolex aftermarket dial (Jubilee/Black) and going with the champagne/tapestry. It really improved the watches appearance from my perspective.

Wow, you went from a bummer to a hummer! I really like that date font!

Curious, were they real diamonds on the aftermarket dial?
