The "HULK" vs anniversary Submarinar

Can anyone give me detailed size, feature, etc. information on the "HULK" Submariner vs the green Dial & Bezel Anniversary model.

Same size and features--technical features at least--except that the "Hulk" has a green ceramic bezel and a green dial whereas the Anniversary had a green aluminum bezel and black dial.

Ok, So there is not a Sub model that has a green dial and green ceramic bezel that is not the "Hulk" ?

Correct!

50th Anniversary 16610LV (green bezel with black dial) is the Kermit

116610LV (green ceramic bezel with green dial) is the Hulk

The green dial and green ceramic bezel Submariner is the so-called "Hulk".

There is no green dial and bezel anniversary model

Thank you,

I agree, I have just added the "Hulk" to my stable, I read conflicting articles about the Anniversary model and wanted to definitively clarify!

Some people seem to call every green Sub an "anniversary" model.

I have seen quite a few advertisements with the Hulk listed as the 50th Anniversary Sub. I know it's wrong, but it's just not worth the time to have the argument with them.

Hulk looks nicer but seems like the anniversary model is more collectible.

IMO design -- hulk all the way ie if you can carry green.
Anniversary-- much hype now. Pay abit more and get the flat 4.

No intend to hurt anyone's feeling but I only consider Y serial 16610LV "the anniversary". If it does not carry Y serial number, it doesn't have anniversary value. Now right now, not in the future.

It's very subjective. I had both, liked both but kept the Kermit/Anniversary. To me, it had more "soul". YMMV

Kermit wins on my book due to the "correct" thinner lugs

The 16610LV is a unique combination of old school, trimmer lugs and aluminum bezel with new style hands and the 'pop' of a green bezel. Great watch for someone who appreciates traditional steel but wants to have a little fun. Nothing else quite like it in the stable.

The Hulk will wear larger and give you more green -- until you go to sell your LV ;-)

Since you asked for specs:
16610LV (5digit) vs 116610LV (6digit)
Both 40mm
5 digit has older bracelet/clasp, no glidelock. Black maxi dial and hands. Green bezel that's interchangeable with a 16610LN insert. Discontinued, limited production run.
6digit has green face and bezel, updated bracelet and glidelock. Thicker lugs. Cerachrome bezel.
Same 3135 movement.
There's probably more info that others will add.

Kermit FTW. Gotta love the 5-digits.

I didn't think I'd like the maxi dial but now that I own one, I love it. Sometimes we get a little TOO wrapped up in comparison pictures. It looks great on this watch. And that comes with the bias of having worn a standard 16610 for ~8 years... I thought I'd need time to adjust but it was great straightaway.
