Based on the limited pictures posted, the band looks authentic. Reference numbers look good. Can you post a picture of the clasp showing the scrolls?

If that's a fake it means that the fakers are leaving a lot of money on the table. The effort to stretch that bracelet and age that dial would sell 50 shitty fakes. The insert is a replacement, though, if it's a real watch. Apparently the huge pics aren't big enough, so I won't comment further.

Those r good close up pics. 👏

The bracelet looks good to me although it might not b original to the watch. The insert looks real but can't tell if it's fat font. Could b service replacement. The dial though is mark 4 which is a little late for this serial though with Rolex who knows. Maybe it's a serviced Rolex with real parts. Hope this helps.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

Shouldn't the end links be 280s or 380s? 501s may be added later

The comment yesterday about the size of your photos was because they are so very large and focus on very tiny sections of the watch and many are blurry so it is very difficult for someone to give you good advice.

There is only 1 photo showing the full head of the watch and it is very blurry. I would recommend you take 5 photos of the full head of the watch from different angles and post it at a size around 1024 pixels wide so it looks good, looks crisp, and can be considered in its entirety and not closeups of small details.

Maybe start a new post and specifically say; Considering a 1675, can I get some feedback on condition? See pics
Your post saying HELP!! Is seriously holding you back.

Nice watch by the way. It's not a museum piece but a good daily wearer

A tired old GMT. Very uninspiring. Much better ones out there.

Go636, you seem like a nice guy. Post how much seller wants for this watch. We can tell you if the price is fair

Is this US dollars?
Seems a bit high but the 7836 bands have gotten expensive. The dial and hands are discoloured.

The watch has a Mark IV dial which is circa 1974-1978. The bezel insert is later, probably 1980s-1990s. The bracelet is original except for the 501B end links which are much later. The clasp appears to be original but normally the later 7836 bracelets have a date stamped on the clasp.

Price is relative. Check what is being offered for sale and see how this watch compares to others in that price range.
