How do they do it...?

swap bezels over that is! My AK's bezel seems pretty tight - do the dealers just prize them off with a knife blade?
Only asking this because I see so many after market blingy bezels on Fleabay.

There was a post by Jocke showing how he changed the bezel & dial on his DJ, but I can't find it. He used a knife.

This comes up from time to time. There are tutorials out there, and I have also posted on my own experiences with my GMT II.

Go slow, plan, don't be rushed or distracted, cover the knife blade in soft electrical tape and check frequently that it isn't coming through the tape and possibly scratching the watch case.

Best,

C

Here you go.

http://www.vikbobil.se/bezel.html

I followed Jocke's excellent tutorial without any problems to ensure my Sub's bezel lined up PRECISELY with the 12 o'clock marker. As his tutorial says, the tricky bit is finally re-fitting the bezel insert. The edge of the table trick works.
