Hey kids, can I prevail upon you for some advice?

I currently own a TT DJ w/white diamond dial, but after joining this forum, it has whet my appetite for a new Rolex. (Why couldn't I have taken up a less expensive interest like knitting tissue box covers?) More specifically, I want to purchase a SS watch w/oyster bracelet and smooth bezel. I am familiar with the standard dials that go with this configuration, but does anyone know about, or have pictures of, newer dials that have come out within the past couple of years? If so, please throw this dog a bone!

Thanks, kids, and remember . . . horses have two fears: (1) things that move (2) things that don't

P.S. I don't think I'll be knitting any tissue box covers anytime soon.

I don't know that Rolex has been doing the flat bezel on the DateJust in recent years.
I've seen the fluted bezel and the domed plain bezel (which is what you might be thinking about).

I think that the new oyster Perpetuals being released this year in a 36mm format will have the domed bezels..

Should be a good look..

Taffi, Buz's Oysterworld Link is a great resource. That was the first I thought of, too, to give you a look at what's available.

Knitting tissue box covers.... tee hee.

Lisa, I am fond of the tissue box covers that look like little houses. The tissues come out of the chimney and are supposed to look like smoke. My Aunt Mary and Grandma both had them.

Hey, Brian. Do you think there's a forum out there just for tissue-box crocheters? Or what about those little plastic doll faces with crocheted collars? Not sure what they are used for (wall hangings?), but personally find them a little creepy. Most likely to be spotted at your neighborhood thrift store.

Did we just highjack? Sorry, Taffi.

Not a chance. Even after you have turned me down twice on my marriage proposal. There is always HOPE!

Lisa,

Are you the creator of that enchanting little tissue box cover?

No - I can't take credit for that little piece of work. I have been called a piece of work, though. Is that close?

Jim, I will certainly check out your suggestion. After all, anyone with such a striking avatar exhibits obvious good taste.
