Conversation with AD's (by telephone)
I was calling a few AD's to see if they have a watch I am considering (RG ROC black dial bracelet).
The 2 that I called said that they are not offering any discount and that they could cover insured shipping. The 3rd offered a discount, but not enough to be a good deal. I'll admit that I didn't spend too much time building rapport but it is known that they offer better discounts. How much time do you guys spend negotiating, building rapport, etc. Wish people would not want to waste time and just make a good deal. Wire funds and enjoy the weekend. Smh! |

Yes, it has to be in person really for any chance of a decent discount. Use the phone only to ascertain what stock they have to make sure a visit is worthwhile.

Just to echo what everyone has said here... AD's aren't too keen on discussing price offers over the phone. You'd have a much better chance of getting a decent discount if you are in the store and are showing some commitment to buying the watch.
