Alternative strap for 26470ST.OO.A101CR.01

Hello everyone! I have been thinking about trying something new by changing the strap of my lovely 26470ST.OO.A101CR.01 for a while, but I don't really know which strap to buy or where to buy. So I'm asking the awesome people of this forum for help. I'm thinking about something that makes the watch a little bit less sporty. But, any suggestions is appreciated!!! Thank you in advance and I attached a couple of wristshots (which don't do the watch much justice) for reference.

I have a grey theme. I have ordered a bracelet so that it will look more formal when I wear it for work. :)

Seeing as you asked nicely...…it isn’t going to happen.
You bought the wrong watch if you really only wanted something slightly sporty looking.
The hornback leather strap it’s already on, is the least form of sporty attire a watch could wear, but its imposing design is going to overpower any ordinary crocodile/alligator scale strap – so it’s pointless wasting money on something that’s going to have zero impact.

If you like the chronograph look, then you should have bought a RO chrono instead.

You’ve no mission – the ROOs bulk and design will dictate the overall impression more than what strap attached to it will.
It is what it is, there’s no point pretending otherwise – so the notion that putting it on a thick and heavy steel bracelet will make it look more reserved, is misguided at best.
By the sounds of it, you too would’ve been better off with the RO chrono, to which you could add the rubber or leather strap, for a change in appearance.

I did consider the blue dial 26320 but didn't work for me. I have never seen that on leather or rubber strap, so I won't comment whether it looks good on those.

I prefer ROO grey which can be dressed up or down. I roll up my sleeves all the time so I am fine with my thick ROOs.

Less sporty is tricky as you already have it on leather but for funky unique try stingray or an exotic skin from ABP-Paris custom made.

Leave it as is, the horn back is perfect.

Have to agree with PJ, in current form it's least sporty. Maybe a strap without contrasting stitch, but that would be a minor change.

I think it is hard to get less sporty than the Hornback...

That could work. You can also try buying a full bracelet for it. Cost you a penny but could make it more formal.

I believe the horn back are the most dressed up straps for the ROO line. The problem is the ROO is a sporty watch. You can dress it up with a suit but it will always be a sports watch and personally like to style of wearing a sportier watch with a suit. Try getting a strap without any color sticking. Stick to Black or whatever the color the strap is.

Thank you for the replies guys. I actually don't mind it being sporty, but I want to try some straps with more modest color contrast. And I was thinking about kevlar straps, anyone knows where to buy some?

I bought some straps from APbands.com
and thought they were good quality. I needed a short strap and used one of the apbands until the short strap arrived. I bought a carbon strap and I know they have nylon (in addition to all sorts of leather) but not sure about Kevlar. They do have extensive selection
