RO - bracelet cleaning and maintenance
i note from some forums that dirt etc can be a key contributor to bracelet loosening over time rather than any tensile loads.
that said i note that on the RO bracelet, the gaps between then links gather dust relatively easily. what do people find works well to get between the grooves? is pressurised air in a can spray safe? or a very light brush like the ones to apply shaving foam! a microfibre cloth doesnt really get in between properly or are there proper watch cleaning kits i shd consider? i saw some ultrasonic cleaners (for bracelet only, not the head), but probably will stick to something simpler for now. thx again ian |

cheers Alex - sounds good - i'll find a soft brush and give it a go.
i did have a regular toothbrush which i almost used earlier, but after getting a hairline scratches from a very very light desk dive, i was afraid that even a toothbrush might affect the immaculate polish lol |

That's exactly what I do with my SS Openworked bracelet! Works just fine.

I used a silicone infant tooth brush to clean all polished parts of my watches. It works great and to me is near impossible to scratch the surface with.

I had a somewhat similar dilemma, and the guys here were terrific with their input.

No prob!
I bought one from CVS but they're all the same, this would do the trick! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00I8...26T4M9W7HEYVGZ |

Okay Dan, you don’t do subtle, and are too straight-laced to appreciate a jovial facetious dig.
You asked about a toothbrush...has the penny dropped now? |

I use the steam that comes out of my espresso machine that's normally intend to froth latte....it sounds weird but works awesome.
Otherwise I rinse under warm water with soap. Cheers |

What pics back up where?
Have you been drinking more than 2 shandies tonight, Dad? You know what Mum said it does to you, when you over do it! Or have you been having a crafty sniff of the Red Stripe Crucial Brew again? |

Just use some soak and s soft brush at first. Then Veraet.
I hate a dirty watch and clean it quickly with Veraet before wearing. |

Presuming that my photo hosting site has royally screwed up by changing the url path, so I’ve asked one of the moderators to remove all these unrelated posts, in order to leave the thread nice and tidy.
Sorry chaps. |

It would be better to remove the bracelet as the ultrasonic waves might not be good for the watch head imo Sent from my iPhone SixS+ |
