8-08-08 end up my lucky day

A few bad things happened at work today. That I guess comes with the remodel/new construction business. Thanks to ZROLEX aka Zulf e-mailed me and told me about my AD having a Black SS Daytona come in. I spoke to the salesman today that I buy from and it is saved for me. I will pick up tomorrow. Thanks Zulf for letting me know. :cheers It turned out to be a great day I suck at taking pictures I have tried so I will try again and post if they come out decent.

Rolex must have trickled their latest SS Daytonas into ADs recently as I received a call from my AD about a black face on 8-7-08 and bought it on 8-8-08. Congrats!

Doctor: "This is called 'Retail Therapy' and is quite common amoung WIS's.
I am afraid that this is quite serious and not easily cured... except of course with another purchase!!!!" :-) :-) PICS PLS !!!!!!!

Congrats and can't wait to get the pics!

When you shared your story about the AD contacting you and saying your Daytona was in, it brought back the memory of the same thing happening to me. It was Friday, February 1st. Since I work out of my home I was sitting around in shorts and a dirty T-shirt when the phone rang; it was the AD telling me my watch had arrived and was waiting in the store. I took a shower, shaved, brushed my teeth, (even put on deoderant!), then put on my best suit and tie to go pick up my new Rolex Daytona...

AM I A GEEKY (ROLEX) NERD OR WHAT!?!!?!?!

P.S. Actually, the funniest part of the story was when I called my mother that night and told her there was a "new addition in the family..." Since I've been divorced ten years and have no kids/girlfriend she got really confused very quickly. Then I explained about my new Watch...

See above about me being a Geeky Rolex Nerd...
