Unwanted Skype Requests
Has anyone been getting skype requests from individuals, not forum members, who will not identify themselves? I just started to get a rash of them yesterday. I need to learn how to block those request.

It's probably JJ. I know he went to a sheep shearers convention last week, apparently as they were singing along to "Midnight train to Georgia" your name came up. You will be glad to know you were soon forgotten when the Beach Boys, ba ba ba Barbara Ann was played

I usually set my status to Away in Skype. People usually won't bother you and if friends want to chat they can still leave a message.

Change your status, so people don't find you as easily!
Right now your status is "SkypeMe" that means that anybody in the world can see you're on-line, not just your friends that you've accepted...

Mireyna is correct if you have your Skype set to "SkypeMe" then you will get people trying to contact you. You can change that setting to still be online, but not set to "SkypeMe" and you should be fine with that setting.
